BEGINNER LEVEL

Optimist boats are are designed for kids. Built to be handled without danger, fear or back-strain. Sailed solo - similar to learning how to ride a bike by themselves, builds sailing skills and confidence.

The Opti is utilized in North Star Jr. Sailing's beginners, along with the intermediate sailboat and racing teams. Safe and simple enough for an 8-year old, yet exciting and technical enough for a 15-year old. Over 50% of the dinghy skippers in the last Olympics are former Opti sailors!  $650 per 2 week Session.
