• Continue safe sailboat handling knowledge, seamanship, and sportsmanship.
• Promote youth crewing opportunities and get experience on keel boats.

Silver Fleet - Intermediate

Course Description

Meeting full days Monday through Friday. Participants will continue to gain advanced sailing experience without participating in a formal race program. Children will rotate their sailing experience on different club boats. Dinghys: Optis, and Lasers.

Prerequisites: Ability to swim/pass swim test, basic knowledge of sailing or previous sailing experience and wearing their Life vest while on the water.

Dates and Fees:

Full (F) season: June 15-August 7, 2020 Tuition: $1000 + $150 Boat use fee

*No classes during the Port Huron to Mackinac race week: July 13-17th, 2020

Half (H) season: $550 + $100 Boat use fee

1st half: June 15-July 10th with flexible 4 week scheduling available.

2nd half: July 6-August 7th with flexible 4 week scheduling available.
